When I first started Anime Apocalypse, I didn't really understand how the game worked. I just jumped into fights thinking combat was everything, but after a while I realized this game is more about progression planning and resource timing than pure fighting.

Most new players make the same mistake — they focus too much on combat and ignore systems that actually speed up growth.

The truth is: early game is all about setting up your foundation correctly so you don't waste time later.

What You Should Focus On First

Starter Quests First

Starter quests unlock most core systems in the game. When I skipped them on my first account, I ended up being locked out of important mechanics longer than I should have been.

Use Free Rewards Immediately

One of the biggest early advantages comes from Free rewards & boosts. These give coins, spins, and XP boosts that speed up early progression massively.

Don't Waste Early Resources

A big beginner mistake is upgrading random abilities. Early game builds don't matter as much as unlocking systems and improving farming efficiency.

Early Game Progression Loop

The correct early loop looks like:

Quests Farming Unlock abilities Upgrade Repeat

Once you follow this structure, progression becomes much smoother and faster.

Beginner Mistakes I Made

  • Upgrading weak abilities too early
  • Ignoring farming zones
  • Not using boosts at the right time
  • Playing without progression planning
